At Christ-Centered Sexuality, everything we teach and live flows from who Jesus is and what He’s done. Our faith isn’t just a list of doctrines—it’s about a Person. A Savior. A love story. Here’s a look at what we believe about Jesus’ coming to earth, how He saves us, and what it means to live a new life with Him.

Jesus Came for Us

We believe Jesus didn’t just stay distant—He came close. The eternal Son of God left heaven and entered our messy world. He was born of the virgin Mary, through the power of the Holy Spirit, and became fully human. That’s what we call the incarnation—God putting on flesh and moving into our neighborhood.

Why does this matter? Because in becoming human, Jesus took on all our brokenness and pain. He walked where we walk. And when He died, He took our death with Him. When He rose, He made a way for us to rise with Him—to a brand-new kind of life.

In Jesus, we see the love of God made visible. Tangible. Personal. It’s not some vague spiritual idea—it’s real. This is the kind of love every human heart longs for. And it’s offered to us in relationship with Jesus—the one who came, who died, and who lives again.

Salvation Is a Gift

We believe that salvation is something only Jesus can give. It’s more than just forgiveness (though it’s definitely that!). It’s rescue—from sin, from death, from evil, and from the judgment we deserve. But even more than what we’re saved from is what we’re saved into.

We’re welcomed into relationship with God Himself. The Bible uses all kinds of beautiful language to describe this: adoption into God’s family, reconciliation after being far off, new life where there was once death, and forgiveness that wipes our record clean. That’s who we are now—God’s beloved children.

And here’s the best part: it’s all grace. We don’t earn this. We don’t have to get our act together first. God moves toward us in love, offering this gift to everyone. No one is too far gone. No one is left out of the invitation.

Life with Jesus Is a Journey

We believe that following Jesus is a lifelong adventure. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being transformed—bit by bit—into the person God always intended you to be.

When we say “yes” to Jesus, He starts restoring the image of God in us. But He’s not just getting us back to the Garden of Eden. He’s shaping us into something even more glorious: people who reflect Jesus Himself.

Salvation isn’t a one-time moment. It’s a process. We have been saved, we are being saved, and we will be saved fully one day. Along the way, we learn to repent, to obey, to surrender more and more of ourselves to the One who gave everything for us.

It’s not always easy. But it’s so worth it.

Jesus,
Thank You for coming close. For stepping into our humanity and bringing hope to our brokenness.
Thank You for loving us before we could ever love You back.
Thank You for rescuing us—not just from sin, but into something beautiful: life with You.
Teach us to walk with You.
Shape us to look more like You.
Help us to trust You, surrender to You, and delight in You.
You are our joy, our hope, and our Savior.
Amen.
